Daily DeviationGiven 2008-12-07The pain staking and flawless excution of Dreaming of Lakes by ~Linguslingus is breath taking, the anatomy, propotions and the realist quality of the pose is so accurate that when I was first shown this piece I thought it was a model rather than a sculpture. The choice of back ground like wise means that you're not distracted by colour and so the eye can focus more so on the piece itself. (Suggested by *madfairy7 and Featured by ^Thebuild) |

I would love to have something like this when I get my own home.

Id rather die standing than live on my knees.
I'm amazed by the detail- the way the flesh is rendered so amazingly life-like; the muscle fat and bones beneath the skin... it's all there!

"It's called mitosis, sweetie. You see, when a single celled organism loves itself very much..."

It was once told in Symmyrnea... That whoever would talk to pine barks in the forest, write the mystery on the sea with ancient woods and take those faces to the isolated rocks on an island, would find the road to OEGGEM. And...(the end is the beginning)
It was one that came together very fast and sort of just worked straight away.
I think i did it in about 4 hrs.
Sometimes i get this wierd feeling that im just the machine doing the work and something else is creating the spirit of the peice.
I sit back and say.. how did that just happen.????
